Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026.
Scope of the Policy and Services Covered
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital courses, professional resources, subscriptions and related services offered through presszorix. The site provides specialised training materials focused on studio production techniques including equipment setup, camera operation, lighting design, sound engineering and workflow optimisation for broadcast and live events. All transactions are conducted under the laws of the United Kingdom and this policy forms part of the contract between you and presszorix when you purchase access to any course or resource.
The policy covers both one-time course purchases and recurring subscription plans. It does not apply to physical goods or in-person training sessions. By completing a purchase you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated at checkout. Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Additional charges may arise if you select optional add-ons such as extended access periods or supplementary materials. presszorix reserves the right to adjust prices at any time; however, the price at the moment of purchase confirmation remains fixed for that transaction. Currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider are your responsibility and are not included in the displayed price.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfers processed through secure third-party gateways. All payments are authorised in real time and funds are held until the transaction is completed or declined. presszorix uses industry-standard encryption and complies with PCI DSS requirements to protect your payment details. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. Any attempt to use fraudulent payment methods will result in immediate cancellation and may be reported to relevant authorities.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
A contract is formed only when you receive an order confirmation email from presszorix after successful payment. This email summarises the purchased items, access details and applicable terms. Until confirmation is issued no binding agreement exists. You should retain this email for your records as it serves as proof of purchase.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being formed. For digital content the cancellation period ends once download or streaming access begins, provided you have given prior express consent to waive the cooling-off period. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with effect from the next billing cycle. Early termination does not entitle you to a pro-rata refund except where required by law.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available only where a course is materially defective, inaccessible due to technical fault on our side, or where you have not commenced access within the cooling-off period. Non-refundable items include completed courses, promotional bundles, gift vouchers and any content for which you have already begun streaming or downloading. Refunds will not be granted for change of mind after the cooling-off period or for failure to meet technical requirements on your own equipment.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund you must contact [email protected] or submit a request via the contact form on our Contacts page within the applicable time limit. Include your order number, full name, email address associated with the purchase and a clear explanation of the reason for the request. We may ask for additional supporting information such as screenshots of error messages. Requests received without this information will be returned for completion.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification
Upon receipt of a complete request presszorix will inspect the claim within 10 working days. You will receive written notification of approval or rejection via email. If approved, the refund amount and expected processing timeline will be stated. If rejected, reasons will be provided along with any options for appeal or further evidence submission. Decisions are final once communicated unless new material facts emerge.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are issued using the original payment method wherever possible. Processing typically takes 5 to 10 working days from approval, although bank transfers or international cards may require up to 14 additional days for funds to appear in your account. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed. Any currency conversion differences are not reimbursed.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers
Digital courses are supplied immediately upon confirmation and therefore the 14-day cooling-off period is waived once access is granted. Subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled. Promotional offers such as discounted first months are non-refundable and any remaining promotional credit is forfeited upon cancellation. We reserve the right to suspend access during refund investigations.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments must be resolved within seven days to maintain access. Duplicate charges detected by our system are automatically refunded within five working days. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in permanent account suspension. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate account freeze and cooperation with law enforcement where required.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. If any term is found to be unenforceable it will not affect the remaining provisions. You retain the right to seek redress through the courts or alternative dispute resolution schemes.
